Sight to Save

Client: SP Invisível


Created for SP Invisível, an NGO dedicated to protecting São Paulo’s homeless population, Sight to Save turns the city’s surveillance network into a life-saving tool. By reprogramming Smart Sampa’s thermal cameras, the system now detects early signs of hypothermia or heatstroke among unhoused individuals.

When danger is detected, emergency services are alerted immediately. The data also powers real-time heatmaps to guide SP Invisível’s outreach and shelter efforts. No new tech, just a new purpose for what’s already there.
